Community Shabbat - 25th November
2006
You are invited to our first Annual Communal Shabbat on 25th November 2006
Student Rabbi Nathan Alfred is coming to lead run a Torah study session with Bagels – starting at 10.15am prompt! – which is open to all.
The Service will start at 11.00am and will include some teaching and discussion about the prayers and songs that we use on Shabbat. There will be a small Kiddush after the service.
Between 4pm and 5pm in the afternoon, you are invited to various members' homes in your local area for tea and coffee, to meet other members in an informal setting. You are invited to bring the host a cake or something else for tea. In keeping with our commitment to social justice you are also requested to bring along some toiletries as a donation for ASSIST – a refugee Charity.
Please leave a message on Ruth Mason's answer phone or email her to let her know if you will be attending an open home in the afternoon - and tell her which home you will attend – ruthmason1<at>hotmail.com
