Welcome to Seven Hills Shul, the home of Reform Judaism in Sheffield.

Seven Hills Shul was established in 1989, initially as the Sheffield and District Reform Jewish Congregation. We are a small, friendly, multi-generational and inclusive community. Most of our members live in the city of Sheffield and its surrounding areas.

The Shul is affiliated to the Movement for Reform Judaism, and is part of the Jewish Small Communities Network and the Northern Network.

We don’t have a synagogue building or a rabbi, so we run all of our own services and events ourselves with support from our Community Development Worker and visiting Jewish educators and rabbis.

We offer a wide range of social, cultural, educational and spiritual activities throughout the year to celebrate Shabbat, mark the festivals, deepen our Jewish journeys, engage in interfaith work and uphold the values of tikkun olam, repair of the world.

We always welcome fresh ideas and energy, and the contributions and participation of our members and friends.
